Since hanging out with his cousin Logan in Texas Luke has
taken to saying "Oh NO" for almost everything. It is quite adorable but a little obnoxious at times!!! It seriously is his current most favorite phrase.
We had a great time in Texas. The boys had fun playing together and running around and overall being best buds for the weekend. Luke ate turkey which is unheard of and we are pretty sure it is because his cousin was also eating turkey. He has yet to eat meat again. No pressure though cooking his vegetarian fare isn't too difficult.
Luke did really well on the plane - he slept most of the flight home which was great for Curtis. Curtis was in charge of Luke while I was in charge of Stella. I got the easier end of the bargain for sure.
At the beginning of December we took a road trip with Stella, Nana Alicia & Auntie Sarah to see Great-Grandma Amalia and Great-Grandpa John & Great-Grandma Mary Ann. It was a whirlwind of sight seeing - we pretty much looped all of Southern California south of Los Angeles. We stayed the night in Old Town San Diego and had a great time looking at the shops and eating Mexican food. Luke ate a chip with a bunch of salsa and really enjoyed it. I was surprised he didn't spit it out due to the heat of the peppers.
Luke was really helpful when we decorated our tree this Sunday. He was surprisingly helpful and was really interested in his reflection in the glass ornaments. He helped put the tree topper on with Stella.
Luke has taken to coloring a lot and thank goodness we have washable markers as he had fun playing with them the other night. We apparently really got into playing our game or watching a movie and stopped paying attention to him. But as I said they are washable!!!
And here is Luke's victory face - he just beat Curtis in a game of Street Fighter!!!
