So Luke has really taken to saying "Mine" for pretty much everything he gets his hands on so when we started the transition of moving Stella into her and Luke's room we thought for sure we would be met with a serious case of mine-itis. Luckily that hasn't been the case so far. I have been working on and off in getting their room organized and ready. It's been rearranged so many times its crazy.
Anyways, Stella started sleeping in what has been Luke's room for a year now and we really hoped when she woke up for her middle of the night feeding Luke wouldn't wake up as well. The first night he did which is understandable but last night he didn't. Yay!!!
This morning I put Stella in her crib so I could get some clothes out for her and Luke asked to get in his crib as well. He has really taken to his sister and now that she is getting more interactive I think he is starting to see that he has compatriot and future buddy to play with. Yesterday while we were at Nana's and Papa's he was handing her toys while he was playing as well. It was sweet. He also goes up to her and will have mini-conversations. He does like to throw stuffed animals in her crib which makes me a bit nervous but we are trying to halt that!!
Speaking of stuffed animals...he has a bunch and they are all his best friends. He loves to go to sleep with them after he has told them all a story and they all need to get out with him in the morning when he wakes up. No stuffed animal is safe right now!!!
