So Luke really loves Sesame Street...we have gotten him a few stuffed characters from the show, Big Bird (his favorite), Cookie Monster & Elmo (he calls him Melmo-adorable). At night he loves to tuck in his friends. This has become our new way to get him to go to bed and be happy about it!!!Luke loves to imitate Cookie Monster. Apparently when his Nana Alicia took him to Porto's (a Cuban bakery in our neighborhood) he was imitating Cookie Monster while standing in front of the pastry displays as well as pointing at the case and saying, "Cookie". This apparently warranted a free cookie from the lady behind the counter. Boy can he work a room!!!
Luke has taken to using one of my purses as his toy bag...I have to say he did choose one of my more fun handbags, it's plaid my favorite!! He will carry it around the house and put some of his more precious toys in it.
Another fun activity for our little monster, umm I mean cookie monster, is the trying on of adult shoes. He had fun parading around last night in front of Great-Grandpa John, Great-Grandma MaryAnn, Nana Alicia & Auntie Sarah in Sarah's silver shoes....
