This morning when I got our of the shower I heard a very serious conversation happening between Luke & Curtis while Luke was experiencing the end of his timeout. Apparently when Curtis went to load up the car, as is his usually MO in the morning before getting the kids in the car, Luke locked him out of the house!!!
Usually Curtis will turn on the car to get it warmed up for the kiddies. Not the case this morning since he needed those keys to unlock the door.
We have childproofed the front door so that Luke can't escape but we hadn't thought of him ever locking us out!!! Yikes. Not sure who got the biggest lesson of all.
