6 month check up

Yesterday Luke had his 6 month check up and shots. I always hate the shots cause little man obviously hurts and cries. I really don't like to see his tears.....but here is the good stuff from our appt!

Luke weighs in at 18 lb 12 0z; he is 27.5 inches long. Overall his weight, height and head measurements are all in the 75 to 90% he is perfectly proportioned per the doctor! He is on target with all his development skills and he even rolled around a bit and babbled to show the doctor what a great kid he is.

One thing we need to start doing is reducing his middle of the night feeding and stopping it all together per the doc. Luke should be sleeping through the night without us pesky parents scooping him up and feeding him when he starts crying at 3:3oam. We are fine with that cause this feeding has been killing us!!!

We are also introducing new solids and will be increasing his solid intake to two meals a day. Very exciting. He is really starting to love using the spoon. Though he does this silly thing where he blows out air before sucking in the food on the spoon and it sends the food all over especially his face.
