Wednesday we had our inspection on the new house. I unfortunately was at work and didn't get to comb over the house but Curtis & Luke went. After the inspection Curtis gave me a call from the car to give me an update and in the background I could hear Luke just chatting away. Boy, did he have a lot to say about the house and his NEW ROOM.
He is really excited about the trees in the yard and all the room he is going to have to play. It was adorable.
Luke is about ready to get moving. This morning he got some major backwards scooting movement while we were playing. He is also changing his position a lot in his crib. This morning while scooting backwards he started lifting his behind and then scooted like 3 inches. Pretty soon he is going to figure out how to move forward...look out world!
He is still sleeping through the night and it seems he is finally getting past the screaming until he passes out phase. Which is great, no more heartbreak for us listening to him fight sleep. I'm having to wake him up at 6:45a to get ready for school and he is always greeting me with a smile. He then sees Daddy and just lights up! He loves his dad so much that this morning he started saying Dadadaaadaa. Of course it wasn't specifically towards Curtis but it does appear his first word will most likely be Dada. Luckily I'm not jealous....at least not yet.
